The EU Committee brings together EU policymakers and international business to share views on the EU’s regulatory priorities.
We provide an opportunity for our members to meet EU officials with expertise and influence at all levels of decision-making process – from Commissioners, Ambassadors and MEPs to desk officers and party political staff.
Our aim is to connect the international business community with the right people and have the right conversations at the right time.
We regularly welcome senior EU and business representatives to small-scale, off the record events, where the informal style creates the opportunity for a real interaction, new opportunities and insight.
All our events are open for sponsorship with a package to suit different settings, speakers and budgets. For instance, a member can sponsor a regular briefing for 1000 Euros or a half-day workshop for 5000 Euros. Please contact Bernada for further details.
The EU Committee’s work is driven by four Task Forces bringing together our members’ wide interests and expertise.
The Task Forces connect to the broader regulatory themes of the European Union, focussing on priorities such digitalisation or the green economy and on achieving a dynamic internal market or improved trade with 3rd countries. They also drive the EU Committee’s approach to important values such as inclusivity and sustainability.
Every other month the Task Forces hold an Open Fora day which is open to all Chamber members.
*Participation in EU Committee events is limited to Full or Patron members of the British Chamber.
