The British Chamber of Commerce |EU and Belgium invites all members to the Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM).

Following the adoption of the new Articles of Association at the June Annual General Meeting (AGM), the number of directors on the Board was increased, the Council was replaced with an Advisory Board and the EU policy committee structure was adopted in line with the new committee developments.

Following these governance changes, we will be holding an EGM on October 20th to:

- elect the President and the EU Policy Hub Chair for the next two-year term,

- appoint the additional ten further positions on the Board.

More details about the new Board and governance structure, the specialised and general director roles involved and the process for nomination can be found on our website. We encourage all of our eligible members to participate in the nomination and appointment process.

Come and join us at our EGM to confirm and meet our new Board and new CEO Sue Arundale and hear about their plans for Britcham for the next few years. These are exciting times for the Chamber as we support our members businesses to thrive in the new economic and political environment.

After the EGM, we are happy to issue an open invitation for all to adjourn to the Caberdouche, on Place de la Liberte just behind the BtitCham Office. Please join us for more networking and a glass or two with our new CEO, President and the Board. We look forward to once again meeting in person and enjoying good conversation and company in our Britcham community.
