Join us at the Chamber for an event on the European Commission’s IP Action Plan.
Intellectual Property laws are vital for companies as it allows them to protect their assets and enables them to compete around the world with protection.
The new IP Action Plan aims to upgrade this system, promote smarter use, ensure better enforcement, and promote fair play globally for IP.
The plan aims to deal with some of the shortfalls that currently exists within the present EU IP Protection. It aims to protect small businesses, and deal with the emerging problems of piracy and cybertheft which can cost around €56 billion a year.
Mr Philipp Runge represents DG GROW as a Legal and Policy Officer, we look forward to his insights on this important topic for European Business.
