- INVITE & MEMBERS ONLY event -
The British Chamber of Commerce | EU & Belgium and Keeping Channels Open are organising an informal townhall meeting on Tuesday, 28 March, to openly share views and recommendations for improvements to the EU–UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement and the overall UK-EU relationship. This is an invite-only event.
Given the recent agreement on the Northern Ireland Protocol and the Windsor Framework, the increased media coverage about the consequences of Brexit, and more British voices calling for improved cooperation, BritCham and Keeping Channels Open believe the that the time is right to discuss next steps.
The event will gather together prominent voices from Brussels that have advocated for a stronger UK-EU relationship:
- Elizabeth Crossick (Head of EU Government Affairs & Global AI Lead at RELX),
- Sandra Khadhouri (Director at Keeping Channels Open),
- Richard Corbett (Former Head of Labour Members of the European Parliament),
- Sir Graham Watson (Former Head of ALDE at the European Parliament),
- Matt Hinde (Head of EU Affairs at National Grid),
- Fergus McReynolds (Director of EU & International Affairs at MakeUK)
- Helena Raulus (Independent Legal Expert).
