The Chamber would like to invite you on 15 September 16:00 CET to attend our discussion on the current status of the EU taxonomy for sustainable activities, where we will be delighted to hear again from Elisabetta Siracusa, Principal Advisor at DG FISMA.

Intended to classify environmentally sustainable economic activities, the Taxonomy should serve as the reference point for policymakers legislating on environmental policies and investors seeking guidance on which projects truly contribute to the green transition. The aim of the event is to discuss how the Taxonomy has developed over the past year, in light of the passage of the ‘Complementary Climate Delegated Act’ and the impact the ‘EU Taxonomy Climate Delegated Act’ has already had on sustainable finance decisions, green innovation and the progress towards achieving carbon neutrality in the EU.

This event will include a presentation by Ms Siracusa, followed by a Q&A session moderated by the Chair of the Sustainability Committee, Tom Murray, where participants will have the opportunity to put their questions to the speaker.

We look forward to welcoming you to such an exciting and topical event!
