This is an invitation to join us on Wednesday 1 June at 12:30 CET, for a working lunch on "The Potential Consequences of Doing Business with China for Belgian Companies", brought to you in partnership with European Foundation for Democracy and U.S. Embassy in Belgium. We will be hosting Roberta Bonazzi, President from the European Foundation for Democracy and Pieter Cleppe, author of the paper The Potential Consequences of Doing Business with PRC firms for Belgian Companies.

This event is free for members. Spaces for this event are limited and will be handled on a first come, first served basis. Please register to secure your spot.

At this working lunch, we will discuss how to achieve successful business with Chinese businesses whilst maintaining European values. We will address the changes in due-diligence practices and identify how businesses can mitigate potential risks. It will also examine proposed legislation on sustainable due-diligence, both at EU and national level, and show how this will affect current business practices.

We look forward to welcoming you to this exciting discussion!
