The Chamber would like to invite you on 23 November 10:30 CET to attend our event on the topic of AI Liability Rules. This event will take place at the online.

The EU's Digital Agenda has placed heavy focus on the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI), with legislative proposals such as the AI Act aiming to harmonise the application of AI with European values therefore emphasising a rights-based approach. The Commission has furthered this approach with the AI Liability Directive, which aims to create uniform rules on the alleviation of burden of proof, therefore creating a simplified legal procedure for those affected by AI systems. We are delighted to welcome our panelists MEP Axel Voss (EPP, DE) and Ioana Mazilescu, Deputy Head of Unit at DG JUST, who will be sharing their views on the Commission's proposal for a Directive on Adapting Non-Contractual Civil Liability Rules To Artificial Intelligence, and the position of the Parliament in how they might amend the proposal.

This event will include presentations by all panelists followed by a Q&A session moderated by Elizabeth Crossick, Chair of the Digital Committee, where participants will have the opportunity to put their questions to the panel.

We look forward to welcoming you to such an exciting and topical event!
