Rebecca is an experienced financial services policy professional with a career that spans a number of regulatory and public bodies in the UK and EU. She is currently Head of European Policy at the City of London Corporation where she oversees the work of their Brussels office. The City of London Corporation promotes the interest of UK-based financial and professional firms and the Brussels office is the main liaison point for their work with EU institutions, EU Member States and other key Brussels stakeholders.
Prior to this she spent 3 years at the European Commission as a Seconded National Expert in DG FISMA and spent some time at Finance Watch, an NGO which seeks to promote societal concerns in the financial sector.
Rebecca started her career at the Financial Services Authority, the UK financial services sector regulator, and spent time at both the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority before moving to the Bank of England.
