Carmen is a Managing Director for APCO Worldwide in Brussels. She has conducted European policy and communications campaigns since 2009, specialising in the financial services, digital and sustainability sectors, and holds extensive experience advising businesses on the EU geopolitical agenda, namely economic and trade relations with the UK, US, China and India. Prior to holding a number of consulting roles, Carmen was Senior Policy Advisor with Insurance Europe, where she led the federation’s campaign for the 2015 Paris Agreement. A former US attorney, Carmen holds an LL.M. in International Business Law from Queen Mary University of London.
