In a joint statement with 10 other international business organizations, the British Chamber of Commerce | EU & Belgium expresses its satisfaction that the European Commission has actively engaged with industry and has addressed our many concerns in finalising the draft Implementing Regulation for the Foreign Subsidies Regulation. Positive changes are being made, including limiting reporting obligations to subsidies likely to cause distortions and exempting certain non-distortive financial contributions. We support these improvements, that will reduce administrative burdens and ensure a level playing field for investment in Europe.
