The Bridge Theatre: The New Cultural Partner of BritCham

Brussels, May 5, 2023 — The British Chamber of Commerce | EU & Belgium is pleased to announce an exciting new partnership with The Bridge Theatre, an inclusive, sustainable and locally-integrated theatre that connects multilingual Brussels to English-language talent whilst using the power of theatre to transform lives.

The Bridge Theatre is dedicated to producing socially relevant professional theatrical productions. Through their performances and workshops, they aim to bring creativity, empathy, and the transformative power of the performing arts to diverse audiences.

By forging a partnership with BritCham they aim to extend their reach and create meaningful connections not only with individual audiences but also within the private sector. This collaboration highlights both entities’ shared commitment to fostering strong links and building bridges at the community level.

"We are thrilled to announce our partnership with The Bridge Theatre," said Peter Bell, BritCham’s Executive Committee Chair. "Their commitment to producing socially-relevant theatrical productions and their dedication to connecting people through culture resonates strongly with the Chamber’s core values. We are excited to explore how we can work together in alignment with our members' ESG and employee engagement objectives."

To celebrate this new partnership, BritCham is launching the first edition of our BritCham CULTURE Programme on Friday 19th May where BritCham members will have an exclusive opportunity to watch The Bridge’s latest production ‘Lungs’ with a post-performance backstage tour to meet with the actors and directors of The Bridge to understand their journey and raison d’etre. There will be pre-performance drinks - sponsored by Expedite Group Europe. Stay tuned to our social media and events section on our webpage for updates!
