Annual General Meeting

Registration Closed
All members are invited to join us for our Annual General Meeting. The Board will present the review of the BritCham’s activities and developments during the past year and members are warmly invited to participate in this discussion.  The Annual General Meeting is one of the key forums where our members can meet the Board and help shape the future direction and growth of BritCham. All feedback, observations and contributions will be welcomed.

If you cannot attend, please nominate a proxy by filling out this form.

The AGM will cover certain formal procedures:

  • This will be the first AGM following our establishment as an ASBL in 2022.  Accounts for this initial extended financial year will be presented for approval.
  • The tenure of our current President, Tom Parker, is coming to an end and we have had a call for candidates.  Elizabeth Crossick and David Reed have presented their joint candidature as Co-Presidents.
  • We are proposing changes to our Articles of Association to allow for a Co-Presidency and to confirm the remit of the EXCO.

We are delighted that Caroline Read, Deputy Ambassador at the UK Mission to the EU, will join us for a keynote speech.

As changes to the Articles of Association are being presented to the General Assembly for approval, Belgian law requires that 2/3 of the voting membership need to be present, in person or by proxy, to validly decide on these changes.

We strongly encourage all members to attend but if you are unable to, please complete and return a proxy voting form.

Following the formalities of the AGM we invite all members to stay for drinks, canapes and good conversation.
