Capital Markets Industry Workshop with Guest Speakers

Capital Markets Industry Workshop with Guest Speakers

Financing the European Green Transition requires the EU and UK to mobilise capital and financial systems across Europe.

The British Chamber of Commerce | EU & Belgium is calling on the EU and UK to closely cooperate on net zero in order to fulfil their climate objectives. Capital Markets are among the five key pillars on which we encourage structured dialogue between the EU and UK in order to develop greener and more sustainable capital markets and financial systems.

We invite business leaders, NGOs, trade associations and policy experts on capital markets to attend an industry workshop on Capital Markets on Thursday, 10 October. The workshop will be led by David Reed (Senior Partner, KREAB).

This will be your opportunity to provide your expertise, positions and guidance on our upcoming EU-UK Green Economy Partnership report, which will form the basis for our call.

Jack Roe

Financial Services Attaché, UK Mission to the European Union

Jacopo Borgognone

Senior Adviser, Financing Sustainable Growth, European Banking Federation

David Reed

President of the British Chamber of Commerce EU & Belgium, and Senior Partner at KREAB Worldwide

More speakers TBA

The workshop will be immediately followed by a discussion panel bringing together different public sector perspectives on addressing financial regulatory challenges, followed by networking drinks with the UK Mission to the EU at Park Side Brasserie (Avenue de la Joyeuse Entrée 24, 1040 Brussels). You are invited to register here.
