UKCA Roundtables with EU-Based Stakeholders
This event has been postponed to January 2024.
The British Chamber of Commerce and the Department of Business and Trade is organising informative sessions about UKCA policies. These sessions aim to update EU-based stakeholders who import goods into the UK, requiring UKCA/CE markings.
The event will take place on 21 September, from 10:00 to 16:00 (CEST) at the office of the British Chamber of Commerce | EU and Belgium (Boulevard Bischoffsheim 11, B-1000 Brussels).
Topics for Discussion Include:
- CE Extension: Discuss the impact of an indefinite extension to CE recognition on your business.
- Divergence: Explore hypothetical scenarios where EU or UK regulations change, and share your preferences for government responses to support your product placement in both regions.
- Reducing Business Costs: Consider the benefits and risks of permanently including importer details on product documentation or labels.
Assess the opportunities and risks of using conformity assessment against CE requirements as a basis for applying the UKCA marking. Identify other regulatory easements or measures that could benefit your business.
This event is invitation only.
