Welcome, New Parliament! Youth Summit

About the Summit

Over 2 days, we are convening young leaders representing the worlds of policymaking, business, government, civil society and beyond.  Alongside a dynamic programme of simulation activities, salons, debates, panels and practical sessions, we will host an evening party and a visit to the European Parliament for those who wish to join. To weave the programme together, we will use climate-related issues as the foundation of our deliberations. 

Our special guests

Our speaker lineup includes a number of MEPs and some of the top influential voices from the private and public sectors. In addition, to inspire new ways of thinking, five young climate leaders, selected out of thousands of applicants, will be at the centre of the Summit’s programme. Joining us in Brussels, there is much to be learned from leaders who have operated in the trenches of democratic processes in some of the toughest political systems around the globe.

Why we're hosting this:

• To ignite productive relationships between policymakers, industry leaders and civil society in service of effective, inclusive and forward-thinking legislation. 
• To better equip young leaders operating in Brussels with a deeper understanding of its political workings across sectors. 

• To inspire new, innovative methods of democratic engagement by learning from young leaders who have passed legislation, mobilised thousands and built coalitions to address the climate crisis.
