Brian holds both British and Belgian nationality, and has a career working for the UK Government, European Commission and OECD in the area of biotech regulation. He worked for 8 years as Secretary General for the European Round Table of Industrialists (ERT), a forum bringing together around 50 Chief Executives and Chairmen of major multinational companies of European parentage. Prior to this role, Brian worked as Director General for the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA). Brian currently sits on the Board of Iberdrola Energia Internacional S.L.
