Ed arrived in Brussels in 1996 and has been a founding member of two businesses in which he is still involved.

One business focuses on providing financial advice on wealth and pensions and was acquired by The Fry Group in 2009. Ed still heads up The Fry Group office in Brussels providing advice to the English speaking international community.

The other firm Abatis, provides Belgian tax advice to small businesses and the self-employed. With over 25 years in Brussels Ed has been strongly involved in the British & international community on both a business and social level and has held various honorary positions within the Chamber, The Brussels British Community Association, the British School as well as Brussels Barbarians Rugby Club (now BBRFC Celtic) for whom he also played.

Ed is happy to share his (as well as the Chamber’s) network to anyone arriving in Brussels.
