Financial Services Committee Kick-Off Meeting

The Financial Services Committee is excited to announce its upcoming committee roundtable discussion scheduled for 8 November at 10:00 CET, to be held at BritCham Offices (Boulevard Bischoffsheim 11, 1000 Brussels). This meeting will take the format of a roundtable discussion and will serve as a platform for you to actively contribute to shaping our 2024 Programme. The roundtable discussion will be followed by an exchange with the UK Mission to the European Union (from 10:45 to 11:15).

The first meeting of EU and U.K. financial services officials in London on 23 October via the new EU/U.K. financial services Forum is a key step we have all been keenly awaiting.

It’s great to see that the first meeting is already demonstrating many areas of common interest. (See joint statement here)

An exchange of views on EU/U.K. FS dialogues and launch meeting of the chamber’s FS Committee: Developing European Finance & Investment on 8 November in Brussels (see draft agenda). We seek your input on our 2024 agenda and focus areas for chamber work.

Meetings with prominent MEPs in Strasbourg between 21 and 23 November to discuss europe’s financing needs, cross border investment, transition finance, digital policy and many more key issues (register here).
